Admission CriteriaBachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or its equivalent from a recognized Medical School that is accepted by the Guyana Medical Council and full Registration from the Guyana Medical Council. In addition, all applicants must have a minimum of one (1) year post full registration experience; preferably 6 months of Internal Medicine and 6 months of A & E. Plus Two professional referees, one of whom had interaction with, within the last three (3) years). Plus Medical school transcripts. Plus Competent in spoken and written English language.
OR
Persons with a Diploma in Orthopaedics and Traumatology would be enrolled into the third (3rd) year of the programme.
