Admission CriteriaAt least three (3) subjects at CSEC with a minimum classification of Grade IV in Mathematics and or English.
OR
The Ordinary Diploma in Science (ODS) from the Government Technical Institute (Pass with Credit)
OR
Persons who have successfully completed the Pharmacy Assistant Training Programme offered by the Ministry of Health.
OR
Any other appropriate level of qualification from a recognized institution, and which is acceptable to the University of Guyana. Prior knowledge of CSEC Chemistry or Physics would be an asset.
OR
Mature applicants who have passed the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE) and are employed in Law Enforcement Agencies or the Military; independent consultants working in the fields of Forensic Science, Judiciary, Law, Policing, Intelligence, Banking, Claims Investigation, or with Investigative Agencies.
OR
Mature applicants with at least five (5) years of work experience in the field of law enforcement.
OR
Any other qualification equivalent to any of the above.
