Admission CriteriaA minimum of five (5) subjects at CSEC including Mathematics and English Language at Grades I, II or III at the General Proficiency Level or five (5) IGCSE/GCE 'O' levels grades A-C or any recognized High School Diploma or equivalent.
OR
CPCE Trained Teachers' Certificate/ Associate Degree in Education.
OR
A Commonwealth Diploma/ Certificate in Youth Work.
OR
Diploma in Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/or related field.
OR
Persons who possess at least three (3) passes at CSEC together with five (5) years of active involvement in Youth or Community Work with a recognized organization or agency will be considered for admission, provided they are successful at the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE).
OR
Any other qualification considered by the University of Guyana to be equivalent to any of the above.
OR
Mature age (A minimum of 21 years in the calendar year in which entry is being sought) provided they are successful at the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE).
