Admission CriteriaSuccessful completion of a Degree in Medicine (MD, MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized University Medical School AND Successful completion of a clinical residency program in Internal Medicine, Cardiology or Pediatrics, ie: Masters Degree, Fellowship certification (FRCP or equivalent) from a recognized certifying body or University AND A minimum of 12 months of full time experience on a Cardiology or Cardiac intensive care service in a hospital setting AND Supportive reference from their current program director or supervisor AND Commitment to full time participation in the entire 12 months Fellowship Program AND Commitment to ongoing provision of Echocardiographic services as a major component of their ongoing medical practice AND Supportive evidence (evaluation, references) of integrity, appropriate self-assessment, ability to work as a team member and dedication to ongoing learning AND Favorable interview with course director and local stakeholders - applicant must demonstrate understanding of the program (including the commitments required), provide reasoned rationale for their interest in the program and demonstrate background knowledge and cognitive abilities which could be consistent with successful completion of the program AND A written essay outlining their understanding of the program and reasons for their application may be required in addition to or in place of an in-person interview.
